Attorney and founder Meg Prestidge has over 12 year’s legal experience representing a wide variety of clients and corporations with her innovative and effective legal strategies.
She has extensive expertise in natural resource law and real estate property law – particularly as it pertains to the oil and gas industry, a field she has worked in since the 1980’s.
She has been employed by two major oil companies’ land departments and assisted with writing land/lease records software for a small independent oil company. She was then elected to participate in assisting with the evaluation and writing a similar records systems for major oil companies as well.
In addition to her work as an attorney, she also has experience in real estate as a licensed title writer with expertise in writing title policies and land titles for oil companies. She worked with major oil companies on complex title issues and, prior to opening her own firm, and was Vice-President of Legal and Land for an independent oil company.
Mrs. Prestidge received her Bachelors of Liberal Studies from the University of Oklahoma and graduated with honors from Oklahoma City University’s School of Law. During her time in law school, she was honored to be the only law student invited to serve as a legal expert on a panel for the Oklahoma Royalty Owners Association. She was also admitted to practice in the Western District Court of Oklahoma.
She regularly teaches seminars on title issues to Division Order Analysts and is active in the local legal community and is a participating member of the following organizations:

- Oklahoma Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section
- Oklahoma Real Property Law Section
- Board of Canadian Valley Vo-Tech Center
In her free time Meg enjoys reading and once managed country singer Joe Diffie’s live show in Branson, Missouri!
Meg and her husband Ty are active in Canadian Valley Baptist Church, Yukon, OK where she serves as Treasurer. Her firm is the church’s local counsel.
